Help Give Them a Voice Campaign Aims to Recruit More Social Workers

Filed under: News — Maurice @ 1:24 pm

A new campaign aimed to recruit more social workers is underway here in the UK, supported by the Department of Children, Schools and Families together with the Department of Health.

The campaign was named “Help give them a voice” and intends to show some real life issues which social workers work with day in day out. The campaign is also receiving the support of well know actors who worked on a series of short videos aimed to demonstrate the impact social workers can make not only on individual people and families but on society.

In the video below, Michelle Ryan, Goldie, Joanna Page, Sadie Frost, Emilia Fox and Nicholas Hoult discuss their involvement in the campaign to recruit social workers. Just like social workers give people a voice, these stars have lent theirs to the campaign.

For those that want to help make a difference and become a qualified social worker the campaign’s website offers detailed information and for those that are already qualified social workers and are looking to work as an independent social worker, Restart Resources offers some favourable packages and enhanced rates of pay.
